4th of July Special

EDITORS NOTE: A few days ago I gave you some information on the Legend of the White Loon and now here is another loon that was recently found on Big Bass Lake.

This is a picture of the 2012 July 4th float built by Jim Budd for the boat parade at Big Bass Lake in Irons, Michigan. It took Jim several months to design and build this float. Jim builds a float every other year for the boat parade. Seven of our grandchildren rode on the back of the Loon. Kami Meader designed their hats to look like baby Loons, since baby Loons do ride on their Mama’s back, when very young. As the float went around the lake, the sound system, on the boat, gave out Loon calls that could be heard all over the lake.

im won first prize for this float.
