This is one of my favorite areas to drive in Ludington as the road separates for a period of greenery almost all the way down to Lake Michigan. It brings a touch of class to this wonderful lakefront town. And the community of Ludington makes sure that the greenery is kept up and maintained first class.

This roadway leads to Michigan 116 which is the seven mile highway leading to Hamlin Dam and along the way provides swimmers with the opportunity to stop just about anywhere to have their own private swimming area.

But to get to that, or the Ludington State Beach, one has to pass this wonderful green space. It sure makes the drive worthwhile. Now, if you’re wondering what awaits you at the end of this greenery section, this is what awaits you-
