I have great memories of Bass Lake store. My family had a small hunting cabin near Hamilton and 3 mile Rd. My little brother and I would walk to the store to wander around the store and buy a Grape soda. It was a wonderful little store and I hated seeing it close. My family bought some property out off Tyndall Rd And built a nice cabin on the Sauble river. I live in The Carolina’s now but still get up there once or twice a year. Many of our family friends and neighbors from Muskegon had vacation spots in the area and we spent every weekend up there for years. It’s a magical place for me and hope you enjoy it too!
