Holiday Park 2Holiday Park 1

One of our photographs almosts looks like Greek architecture as it can be found at Holiday Park on the north side of Indianapolis. In addition to this strange edifice is a children’s playground and large grounds for picnics and family reunions. Just beneath the park is another area filled with forests and a small lagoon with benches around it. There are trails to hike with wooden stairs leading down to this section of the park.

The White River runs alongside the border of the park on the lower level and there is another entrance to the park just off the wooden stairs on the east side of North Meridian Sreet, The main entrance is off Spring Mill Road. There is a nature center on the premises as well.

Each year a flower show is held at the park and during the year many tour guide events are held at various hours and seasons. There is plenty of parking at this locale and many events held throughout the year. Plan to visit Holiday Park if you are ever in Indianapolis.
