Eagle Creek Park and Reservor- Part Three

Eagle Creek Park has miles and miles of trails on which to hike including a two mile fitness trail with “rest stop fitness exercises” every fifty yards or so. Or one can choose to hike cross country as I often do. Just across the reservoir there are many more trails on which to hike.

Just off the 56th Street entrance and parking lot is a trail which leads to Lily Cabin which is something right out of Little House on the Prarrie. As you enter the cabin there are several rooms including lofts on each side of the cabin. There is even an old out house just outside the cabin. There is also a huge fireplace on the ground floor of the cabin and one can imagine how these people lived by the layout of this place.
